Part F ventilation testing demands changes in the legal requirements of buildings since December, 2010. It calls for the commissioning of all fixed mechanical ventilation systems that can be tested and adjusted. The commissioning notice is then to be presented to a Building Control Body. It demands the measurement of air flow rates for mechanical ventilation systems that are put up in new dwelling buildings. Owners of these buildings are to be given all the information they need concerning ventilation systems and their maintenance requirements.
